The Danube Road – Dobrogini, part I

  • by

In an effort to protect and preserve the cultural and historical wealth of the Dobrogea region, we are pleased to announce the launch of an innovative project dedicated to the promotion and preservation of cultural heritage. The project, called the Danube Road – Dobrorigini, Part I, has as its main goal to bring to the forefront the unique cultural values and millennial traditions that define this region.

With the support of the National Cultural Fund Administration, the project aims to make a significant contribution to the promotion and preservation of the material cultural heritage of Dobrogea.

The project activities involve:

  • Promoting local cultural heritage to local communities, but also to the general public, by organizing cultural routes
  • Organization of 4 cultural routes
  • Research and documentation regarding cultural objectives located in Constanța county
  • Development of an interactive map containing cultural routes
  • Creating a digital cultural platform dedicated to Dobrogea
  • Exhibition of photographs taken on cultural routes and collected from local archives
  • Organizing a framework for discussions and debates regarding the promotion of cultural heritage at the level of Constanța county

We are convinced that this innovative project will bring multiple benefits to our community. We want to create a sustainable platform for the promotion and preservation of Dobrogea's cultural heritage, and collaboration with various stakeholders will play an essential role in achieving this goal.

For more information about our project, we invite you to follow the website drumuldunarii.ro and social media channels of the Youth Vision for Society Association.

Dobrogea is one of the richest regions from a historical and cultural perspective. It hides numerous cultural and archaeological, historical vestiges and natural reserves.
Through the Danube Road - Dobrorigini project, we return to the lands where the Youth Vision for Society Association was founded and aim to capitalize on the cultural, historical and gastronomic heritage of the communities located along the Danube route in Constanța County.
